1. The Mauna Kea VOAD repeater test is set for Saturday, 03 December 2022, 1200-1300 HST (WH6FIU, 146.72-MHz, PL 100.0 Hz). Test conditions may change, depending on the lava flow from Mauna Loa.
2. The Big Island Amateur Radio Club (BIARC) will hold its Christmas Party on Saturday, 10 December 2022, 1400 HST, at the Keaau Community Center.
3. The Original Big Island of Hawaii International Swap Meet/Ham Fest will be held on Saturday, 28 January 2023, 0930-1400 HST, at the Waimea Community Center. Guest speaker will be Craig Bledsoe (KL7H), who will “give a situation report and demonstration of AMSAT…in addition, he will talk about his work in restoring tube radios which are donated to scouts.” For details, contact Steve at wh6n@gmail.com
