Belgium to hold an amateur radio exam in January
Belgium’s communications regulator BIPT is to hold an amateur radio exam in the southern Belgium Province of Luxembourg in Wallonia on January 7

LoRa to the Moon and back

Dayton Hamvention expects to be live event in 2022
Dayton Hamvention organizers are planning to mount the first in-person show in 2022, following 2 years of COVID-related cancellations. The event is set for May 20 – 22 at the Greene County Fairgrounds and Expo Center in Xenia, Ohio

MSF signal outage 9 December
The MSF signal is occasionally taken off-air to allow maintenance work on the masts and antennas at Anthorn Radio Station to be carried out in safety. A radio-controlled clock will not be able to pick up the MSF signal during these periods, so may drift off from the correct time

Mauritius update
Operators Olof G0CKV (3B8HA/SM5CKV), Kazu JK3GAD, Denny KX7M, Jamie M0SDV and Oliver W6NV will be active as 3B8M from Roches Noires during the CQWW DX CW Contest (November 27-28th) as Multi-Multi entry. The team will be active ‘a few days before and after’ the contest
