IARU Region 1 President Don Beattie G3BJ reports IARU-R1 are awarding Medals to six radio amateurs

The Northern Echo reports the MP for Stockton North, announced that he had written a letter to Ofcom calling for a full inquiry into, what he called, the ‘wholly inadequate’ response from site operators Arqiva

 

More on Type Approval Draft Regulations
The SARL had more discussions with ICASA this week and is now preparing a further response to the Draft Regulations and the outcome of the recent public hearing. Home built amateur radio equipment will, under the new regulations, once promulgated, not require notification

Ofcom has today published new guidance to help providers self-assess whether they meet the expanded definition of an on-demand service (ODPS) provider and so need to notify to Ofcom, following changes to statutory rules
