Grid Madness is a FUN event for all hams in the State of Hawaii. Test your equipment, coverage and operating skills using simplex FM on 2 meters, 70 cm, 1.25 meters and 6 meters. Talk to as many stations as you can, in as many Grid Squares as you can, using SIMPLEX ONLY. See who you can contact on your island, or across the water!
New for 2021: 6 meters is new this year and 1.25 meters will again be offered after a successful debut last year. For more info, see Make Contacts on 50 and 220 MHz. Also new — scores will be computed using traditional amateur radio Contest Scoring. For details, click the links!
