Hawaii Island Field Day

Author:

This Saturday and Sunday (26-27 June 2021), Hawaii Island radio amateurs will be participating in the annual ARRL Field Day.

While many radio amateurs will be operating under COVID-19 restrictions at their home stations, two groups of Hawaii Island hams will be activating two sites for this annual event.

The first group will operate from a remote site on Maunakea, just off Mana Road.  GPS location:  19.7337 lat, 155.3837 long.

A second group will activate a Field Day site at Laupahoehoe Point.  A Hamfest will be co-located at the Field Day site.  Talk-in on 442.550 MHz, PLL 110.9 Hz.
