Here be Dragons, venturing into uncharted territory… Sometimes when you head into uncharted territory, you gotta laugh at yourself from time to time. Last weekend I participated in a contest, something I enjoy doing as you might recall. To simplify the process of setting up in a vehicle I’d proposed a bold plan to save space and reduce complexity. I was anxious about reducing the amount of technology because I’d come up with a plan to use a paper log to track my contest contacts

Ofcom claim GDPR blocks callsign disclosure
In response to a Freedom of Information request Ofcom claim they are unable to release the callsign of a person whose amateur licence was Revoked in March 2013 due to GDPR legislation

Ham Radio Operators on the air for nationwide event June 26 – 27
The Narwhal Amateur Radio Society (NARS), made up of ham radio operators from Bellingham, the San Juan Islands, and the Seattle metro area will be participating in 2021 ARRL Field Day, a national amateur radio exercise, from 12 noon on Saturday until 2 pm on Sunday, June 26 – 27
