Hams on Hawaii Island have started a monthly siren net during the siren test which is conducted each month by county Civil Defense (HCCDA.)
The 2nd Net is on Monday Nov 2, 2020 at 11:25 am (early check-ins) 11:45 am (siren test) Use a AllStar Repeater or Simplex Node ( https://nh6tu.org/forms/BigIslandSirenRepeaterSimplexList.pdf ) ( tips ( https://nh6tu.org/forms/AllStarDMRTips.pdf ) ) near you. If you are unable to reach AllStar, you can use DMR Hawaii County Siren Net ( https://nh6tu.org/forms/HawaiiCountySirenNet.pdf ) as another option to pass your traffic. You can also email your report to Darrell KH6RDO firstname.lastname@example.org as it will be turned in to HCCDA that day. Please be sure to click the updates link above as we are still in BETA mode, mahalo all for your support!
