Summary:

Thanks to Stan Froseth (AH6KO) this advanced announcement of this popular VHF/UHF simplex contest.  Here’s Stan’s complete message along with the main link to the event.

Hi Russ,

Announcing the Seventh Annual Hawaiian Islands Grid Madness! This early notice is for leaders in the Hawaii amateur radio community.

Please, if you can — spread the word via radio nets, meetings, newsletters, calendars, web sites, social media, or just tell another ham! On the radio, you can provide the URL below, or say “Google Grid Madness“. (The “octopus” graphic below helps to distinguish 2020 event info from previous years!)

You can use the Publicity Info below, and anything from gridmadness.blogspot.com. We will email a general announcement in late July, and a reminder in early September.

Many thanks and 73~
Stan AH6KO (Event Manager)
