Last Few days of GB0GIG Dragon Amateur Radio Club and North Wales Radio Society are nearing the end of their marathon 28 day activation of the call sign GB0GIG for the Welsh National Health Service (Gwasanaeth Iechyd Gwladol)
Radio amateurs in Wittenberg Günter Dähne DL3HXD, and Ralf Theunert DK1DSA from Wittenberg sit in their little “radio shack”. It is not even 20 square meters in size, but it is packed with radio equipment an ideal meeting point to pursue a common hobby
Electrostatic Field Mill Voltmeter Project
A field mill is a specialized instrument used for measuring the strength of electric fields in the atmosphere, one of the key parameters of atmospheric electricity. They are used in the launch criteria for rockets bound for orbit, as well as the now-retired Space Shuttle, to avoid lightning strikes
St. Pierre & Miquelon rescheduled Eric, KV1J, will once again be operating from the Island of Miquelon
(NA-032, DIFO FP-002 WLOTA 1417, Grid GN17) as FP/KV1J between September 22nd and October 6th. This operation was originally scheduled for July, but was postponed due to travel restrictions. It will be Eric’s 14th trip to the island
We will be active on CW, SSB and digital modes.

Schedule released for E2STAYHOME satellite operation

2020 W9DXCC DX Convention news
The board of directors for the Northern Illinois DX Association voted unanimously on May 19th to cancel this year’s W9DXCC Convention (scheduled for September 11-12th) due to the coronavirus pandemic and expected limitations in Illinois surrounding large gatherings this fall
