Tony’s 10m Band Report
An interesting week. I managed all 10 of the AM*WARD stations on 10m.

As of writing I still need one more to get a gold certificate and 7 more for platinum all on other bands.

I should have started sooner, it’s always the way.
It finishes on 30th April.

ARISS to begin experimental demonstrations of school contacts using a Multipoint Telebridge Amateur Radio approach
Amateur Radio on the International Space Station (ARISS) is pleased to announce the first use of a concept called Multipoint Telebridge Contact via Amateur Radio, allowing school contacts for Stay-At-Home students and simultaneous reception by families, school faculty and the public

Emergency funding to support community radio stations
Community radio stations will soon be able to apply for emergency funding to help them through the coronavirus pandemic

Chinese special event
Members of the Chinese Radio Amateurs Club (CRAC) will activate 10 special event callsigns (B0CRA – B9CRA) across their country make QSOs with amateur radio operators all over the world

Member and operators of the Japanese Antarctic Research Expedition team (JARE) will be active as 8J1RL from Showa Research Station, Queen Maud Land (AN-015), until January 2021

To commemorate the 75th anniversary of VE Day and VJ Day, the RSGB has organised the VE/VJ Day amateur radio marathon on the HF bands and 6m using SSB, CW and digital modes

An International Space Station school contact has been planned with participants at Northern Virginia Schools Group, Woodbridge VA on 30 April. However, this will be an ARISS event with a difference
