Alan Maenchen (AD6E/KH6TU) brought this to our attention.  He passed on
“Doug Grant, K1DG just came out with a book on contesting. The teaser
pages are interesting alone. Don’t let the title fool you. Doug is one
of the best.”

The ARRL has made us all aware that we now have a monthly magazine being
produced for new Amateurs.  I had favorable comments from a couple of
Hawaii Amateurs, so decided to read the first edition myself.  I like
the contents and presentation formats.  It is worth a read.  Check it
out and if you agree pass it on to new hams in your area.
