The ARRL has launched the bi-monthly amateur radio magazine On the Air and has made the premier issue freely available to read on the internet |
YOTA Summer Camp Croatia 2020
Chair of the IARU Region 1 Youth Working Group, Lisa Leenders PA2LS, reports the 10th edition of Youngsters On The Air will be held in Croatia, in the city of Karlovac not far from the capital Zagreb
HRS (Croatian Amature Radio Association) will be hosting the event, which will take place in the summer of 2020 |

Final report from SAQ / Grimeton Christmas Eve transmission 2019
The conditions were very good with clear dry weather in Grimeton, Sweden.
The transmission hall was filled up with record-many visitors who had come to enjoy coffee, cake and Swedish ginger snaps, and to watch the activities with starting and running the old radio transmitter SAQ. |

The Original Big Island of Hawaii International Swap Meet/Hamfest is set for Saturday, 25 January 2020, at the Waimea Community Center near the ball field, just off the Mamalahoa Highway in Waimea. The event runs between 0930 HST and 1400 HST, with an EMCOMM Forum scheduled for 1200 HST and VE testing set for 1300 HST. For more information, please contact Steve Milner (WH6N) at wh6n@arrl.net
