AMC Callsign Lookup Facility now live
On January 6, the Australian Maritime College (AMC) released news that they have “gone live” to the public with their new Lookup facility for Available Amateur Radio Callsigns

Belgium’s QARMAN CubeSat to deploy Feb 12
QARMAN, a nano-satellite designed and built at VKI, was launched to the International Space Station on December 5, 2019. Deployment is expected to take place in the week of February 12, 2020

John Litz, NZ6Q, appointed as San Joaquin Valley Section Manager
John Litz, NZ6Q, has been appointed as the ARRL San Joaquin Valley Section Manager to succeed Dan Pruitt, AE6SX, who died on December 27. Litz will complete the remaining term of office that runs through June 30, 2021

Tony’s 10m Band Report
It’s not very much fun reporting on the state of Ten Metres at the moment. Friday and Sunday were the best days but better than what? I did work some Europeans on 10m and managed to get into the spotters list for Monday and Friday. But I also went on a few other bands.

Best of the DX probably 3D2DJ (Fiji), ZD7FT (St Helena), 3B8CW (Mauritius) and C5SP (Gambia)
