Greetings and Aloha:
Your presence is cordially requested at KMC cafeteria on Tuesday November 12th at 5:30PM for a dinner meeting.
Arrangements have been made for a buffet dinner. Please be a little early as we have a full program of events. The cafeteria closes at exactly 8:00 PM.
The meeting will give ARRL members an opportunity to be briefed by Jim Tiemstra (K6JAT), the Director of the Pacific Division. Jim is on the League’s Executive Committee and is the Chairman of the ARRL Legislative Advocacy Committee. He reports to the Board of Directors.
The meeting will discuss matters of importance to ARRL members in the Pacific Division and especially the Pacific Section. We hope to have visuals as part of Jim’s talk.
- Amateur Radio Emergency Preparedness Act,
- The ARES program enhancements and EmComm;
- ARRL Baud Rate FCC petition,
- The Volunteer Monitors program, and
- Other matters of significance especially the California fires and other freak events.
Also in attendance will be Joe Speroni, (AH0A) Pacific Section Manger & Bill Hanson (N0CAN) of Hawaii County CD.
Looking forward to your attendance at what we expect will be an especially informative and constructive meeting. It is important that you please RSVP to me, Bob Schneider, by Sat. Nov. 9 before 3PM HST. KMC needs an exact head count
