To have kids or grandkids in Hawaii families talk directly with
Astronauts aboard the ISS is a once in a lifetime opportunity. Several
KH6 stations have participated in this program in the past. Anyone with
questions about the process, please drop me an email. We’ll find
someone who can help filling out the application.
The ARRL ARISS Board Committee has asked us to let everyone know the
ARISS window opened Oct 1st, to accept proposals. Hawaii schools have
until November 30th to submit a proposal in hopes of earning an ARISS
contact. Let’s take advantage and work with a school and the ARRL
ARISS committee to make it happen.
The ARRL Web’s news page ran the following news story on October 3.
