Hawaiian Islands Grid Madness 2019

A VHF/UHF Simplex Event
Sunday, September 15th from 1300 to 1700 HST

Grid Madness is a Hawaii amateur radio event. Contact as many stations as you can in as many Grid Squares as you can, using SIMPLEX FM on 2 meters and 70 cm. This event is designed for FUN, and to test your equipment, coverage and operating skills.
ALL Hawaii radio amateurs are invited:

“Get on the air” for new hams
Emergency communications practice for responder groups
Fun activity for everyone — see who you can contact locally or across the water

New for 2019:

Madness Mitigation — Additional designated channels on 2m and 70cm, with suggested use of calling frequencies
