Here’s the current edition of the “Southgate Amateur Radio Club News” from Big Island ARRL News.  This report covers the period of 02 May 2019 through 04 May 2019.  Views expressed in this Amateur/Ham Radio news summary are those of the reporters and correspondents.  Content provided by the UK-based Southgate Amateur Radio Club.  Following this report, I’ll mention a few events of interest to Hawaii Island radio amateurs.

First, a correction to an earlier announcement:

The next meeting of the Big Island Amateur Radio Club will be held on Saturday, 11 May 2019, 1400 HST, at the Keaau Community Center in Keaau, Hawaii Island.  My earlier story was in error.
