Because time is of the essence, and we are between newsletters, I am forwarding these two messages from members.

~~ From Mel Uchida, KH6EKD: “Wonder if there is a way we could put the word out that we’re looking for someone knowledgeable in FLDIGI who could make a presentation and demo at one of our BIARC meetings.” (Any volunteers? Please let Pascal or William know if you’d like to give a talk on this genre of radioactivity.)
~~ From Jim Kennedy, K6MIO, and Linda Kennedy, WH6ECQ:
This is our 22nd year in Papa’ikou mauka, and for a variety of growing health problems, we will
be moving back to St. Augustine FL to be near our kids. Sadly, it’s time to go “home”.
1. If I may, I would like ask if we could get some muscle help taking down a couple of towers
and their antennas, during the next two months.
2. I will also be looking to sell some of our “extra” equipment, and one of the towers (that’s a
40 ft Rohn 25 – with a crank-up antenna Hazer – Glen Martin, no climbing), as well as:
A Kenwood TS-690 transceiver 160m-6m, and a TS-790 transceiver 2m, 70cm, 23cm, a
triband yagi (20-15-10) and a variety of other things, including a nice MFJ 1.5 KW HF
antenna tuner, (and maybe an MFJ 3.0 KW version), and
Other odds and ends, hardware, guywires, some coax…

Location Info:

Papa’ikou (mauka): Personal map available (it’s only a little tricky).
PS: Great ham site for anyone who wants to buy a house with 5+ acres at 700 ft.
