Hawaii Island Amateur/Ham Radio Notes:
The Big Island Amateur Radio Club (BIARC) will hold its next meeting on Saturday, 13 April 2019, 1400 HST, at the Puna Community Church, just up the road from the Keaau Community Center.
Registration is now underway for the news ARRL EMCOMM Course (EC-001). Pacific Section Emergency Coordinator (SEC) Clem Jung (KH7HO is handling registration for the course and will coordinate scheduling with the ARRL Education Department. To register, please contact Clem at kh7ho@arrl.net.
Doug Wilson (KH7DQ) is continuing his free Technician License classes on Hawaii Island. The next classes will be held on these dates: 19 April 2019, 1830 HST, at Discovery Harbor in Ka’u; 23 May 2019 in Waimea (location TBA); and 17 October 2019 at the Keaau Community Center in Keaau.
