FCC adopts new rules for spectrum above 95 GHz in branded ‘Spectrum Horizons’ initiative
The FCC has adopted new rules to encourage development of new communication technologies and expedite the deployment of new services above 95 GHz. The action was the latest move in the Commission’s “Spectrum Horizons” branded initiative

Bloemendal shortwave station’s final transmission

Commemoration of the 900 years of Knights Templar in Portugal

    The FCC is closed today (Friday, June 18) in observance of the new Juneteenth federal holiday. Juneteenth, officially observed on June 19, celebrates the end of slavery in the US. Amateur radio applications and exam sessions filed after Thursday, June 17, night will not be processed until Monday, June 21.
