Here’s a helpful ARES/Emergency frequency guide for the Hawaiian Islands. Stacy has done a great job compiling all of the ARES and Emergency radio frequencies used in the State of Hawaii. I’ll make a copy of this resource, considering just how close we came to being overwhelmed by Hurricane Lane.
And speaking of hurricanes, don’t miss the speaking tour of Oscar Resto (KP4RF), who will be addressing hurricane preparedness and emergency communications on Hawaii Island:
Tuesday, 28 August 2018, 2 p.m./6 p.m. (HST) at the LDS Church in Orchidland. RSVP to Pascal (email@example.com).
Wednesday, 29 August 2018, 6:30 p.m. (HST) at the North Hawaii Community Hospital conference room in Waimea. RSVP to Norm *firstname.lastname@example.org.
