The ARRL Letter Will Not Be Published on July 5. Because of the Independence Day holiday, there will be no edition of The ARRL Letteron Thursday, July 5, and there will be no edition of ARRL Audio Newson Friday, July 6. The next edition of The ARRL Letter will be published on Thursday, July 12, and ARRL Audio News will resume on Friday, July 13. We wish everyone a safe and enjoyable holiday!

Jim Sugg (AH6AE) needs some radio amateurs “to demo how ham radio works at (the) upcoming emergency preparedness fair in Waimea…on Saturday, August 25, 2018 from 8am-12pm…” The event is free and open to the public. The preparedness fair will be held at the Mana Christian Ohana Hall near the Kahilu Theatre in Waimea (Hawaii Island). For details, call Jim at (808) 747-4500 (mobile).
The Fifth Annual Hawaiian Islands Grid Madness VHF/UHF Simplex Event is set for Sunday, 16 September 2018, from 1300 to 1700 HST.
