According to Barbara (NH7FY) and Dean (KH6B), the next informal ham radio breakfast meeting will take place this Saturday, 02 June 2018, 0800 HST, at the Lava Rock Cafe in Volcano Village.
Darren (Stacy) Holbrook (KH6OWL) is looking for human interest stories involving Hawaii radio amateurs who live in the Lower Puna area impacted by the Kilauea Volcanic eruption and the ongoing lava flow emergency. He would like to do an article with those ham radio operators who have experienced the current emergency and were asked to evacuate their homes or witnessed the destruction of their property.
