During the ongoing eruption and lava flow emergencies on Hawaii Island, local radio amateurs are encouraged to monitor the VOAD Repeater on Mauna Kea (146.720 MHz, 100 hz tone) and the 40 meter interisland net on 7.088 kHz (LSB). These frequencies can be used to send emergency traffic.
