Brand new lighthouse for the ILLW event
Four months to go until our 21st annual International Lighthouse and Lightship Weekend and our 153rd entry just arrived from Portugal with a brand new lighthouse for the event

Ponta da Piedade lighthouse was built in 1913 and will be activated by the Nucleo Radioamadores da Armada group using the callsign CR5PP

LED Bulb RF Pollution – Elektor Magazine investigates
DARC, the German national amateur radio society, are requesting amateurs to send LED bulbs which pollute the RF spectrum to the magazine Elektor for investigation

ARISS contact planned for three schools in Poland – Update
As already announced, an International Space Station school contact has been planned for three schools in Poland. The contact will be handled by US astronaut Ricky Arnold KE5DAU

The Royal Mint Experience

Caister Marconi radio station contacts more than 100 amateurs in 26 countries
Radio hams at Caister Lifeboat in Norfolk managed to contact 116 other radio amateurs in 23 different countries on Saturday 22 nd April 2018 when they took part in the annual International Marconi Day (IMD) event to mark the inventor’s birthday
