Here is the current Islands On The Air (IOTA) update from Tedd Mirgliotta (KB8NW), the editor of The Ohio/Penn DX Bulletin. Views expressed in this summary are those of the reporters and correspondents unless otherwise stated.
AS-081. Taka, JA8COE, will be active as HL4/JA8COE/5 from Namhae Island during March 9-11th. Activity will be on various HF bands using CW, SSB and the Digital modes. QSL via JA8COE, direct, by the

EU-025. Members from Radio Club Leuven will participate as IO9R during
the CQWW WPX SSB Contest (March 24-25th) from Sicily Island as a Multi-Op/2-TX entry. Operators mentioned are Orazio/IT9BTI, Simone/IT9YAO, Stefaan/ON4FG, Eric/ON4LN, Rudi/ON7CL, Rony/ON4CU and Patrick/ON8PL. QSL Manager is ON3AR, by the Bureau, direct (+SAE & 2 USDs), LoTW or eQSL.
EU-042. Mike, DG5LAC, will once again be active as DG5LAC/P from Hooge
Island (WWFF DLFF-013 Wadden Sea) during the RSGB IOTA Contest
(July 28-29th) as a Single-Op/Mode-SSB/12-Hrs/DXpedition/High-Power entry. QSL via DG5LAC, direct, by the Bureau, ClubLog’s OQRS, LoTW or eQSL.
EU-123. Paul, G0WAT, will be active as MM2M from Arran Island, Scotland,
during the RSGB IOTA Contest (July 28-29th) as a Single-Op/CW or Mixed-Mode/24-Hrs/Low-Power entry. QSL route TBD.
SA-029. Members of the CabreuvaDX Team will be active as ZV1C from
Cedro Island between March 17-18th. Activity will be on 80/40/20/15/10 meters using CW, SSB and FT8. There will also be activity on 2 meters satellite. QSL via PU2VCP. For more details, see QRZ.com.

Find out by tuning into K3HWJ, the special event station covering the event. K3HWJ will be on the air, Saturday, 03 February 2018, 0900-166 (EST). You contact will help you snag a special confirmation letter/QSL from K3HWJ. The special event station will be on 40 meters on or about 7.245 MHz and on 20 meters on or about 14.340 MHz.

If you haven’t tried AM for awhile, why not have some fun with this classic voice mode on 03-05 February 2018 at The 2018 AM Rally, which will feature amplitude modulation contacts on the 160, 80, 40. 20, 15,10, and 6 meter amateur radio bands. According to the ARRL press release, “The event is open to all radio amateurs who are running full-carrier amplitude modulation (standard AM), using any type of radio equipment.” The AM Rally runs from 0000(UTC on Saturday, 03 February) to 0700 (UTC on Monday, 05 February 2018).
