Another one of my favorite Amateur Radio programs is “AmateurLogic” which discusses a variety of workbench and experimental issues with ham radio equipment. In edition 113, Peter experiments with infrared remote control; Tommy fiddles around with a Tinkercad; Emile becomes an amateur weather scientist; and George tests a variety of components with an ohmmeter (remember those?). East Hawaii CERT Basic Training Course set for 20 January 2018.
A basic Community Emergency Response Team Training Course (CERT) has been scheduled for four consecutive Saturdays at Hilo’s Aupuni Conference Room: 20 January, 27 January, 03 February, and 10 February 2018. New series of Technician License Prep Classes to be offered around Hawaii Island.
Free Technician License Prep Classes will be held around Hawaii Island between February and December 2018.
Hilo–Aupuni Conference Room, beginning 15 February 2018, with the exam set for 22 March 2018.
Kona–West Hawaii Civic Center, beginning 22 March 2018, with the exam set for 26 April 2018.
Ocean View–HOVE Community Center, beginning 03 May 2018, with the exam set for 07 June 2018.
Kea’au–Kea’au Community Center, beginning 01 November 2018, with the exam set for 06 December 2018.
