Comment:
The North American QRP CW Club’s Newsletter (“Key Clicks”) is one of the best Amateur Radio publications available on line. Even if your interests don’t include QRP or CW operations, each information-packed issue is loaded with valuable equipment, operating, and homebrew articles. The January 2018 issue consists of 52 pages loaded with all kinds of ideas for making your amateur radio station more efficient and safe.
These are the main topics discussed in the current edition of “Key Clicks”:
Important Club News.
The new data base project.
A new sprint logger.
A random wire antenna “tuner” from Gene (N5GW).
Farewell from outgoing board member K3WWP.
And all of the usual reports and features (sprint contests, member profiles, the boat anchor challenge, awards, CW nets, and chapter news).
Don’t forget the Big Island of Hawaii International Swap Meet/Hamfest on Saturday, 13 January 2018 at the Waimea Community Center in Kamuela. The event is sponsored by the Kohala Hamakua Radio Club and features a ham radio equipment/electronics swap meet, guest speakers, and VE testing for amateur radio licenses.
