Today, I received this brief e-mail from Kevin Brogan regarding the test of the VOAD repeater on Mauna Kea. Here’s the complete text:
“Please check in if you can. 146.72 MHz and 100.0 Hz tone. Thanks!

I just sent out an email notice regarding the test tomorrow. Please ask for their callsign, name and location of the checkins. I won’t need the data immediately, but within a reasonable amount of time for analysis. We need to justify our having the repeater.
Also, please forward that announcement to ARES operators that you think would not be on the pacsecares group list.
I plan on working the MK repeater again. We’ll see.
The VOAD repeater test is set for Thursday, 07 November 2017. Please contact Kevin–firstname.lastname@example.org.
