Hawaii Amateur Radio activities:

The Hawaii QSO Party is underway and will continue through Sunday, 27 August 2017, 6:00 p.m. Hawaii Standard Time.  This is the perfect time to help our fellow radio amateurs to get the State of Hawaii for the WAS (Worked All States) Award.  Hawaii is also an ARRL DXCC entity.

Grid Madness:

The Hawaii VHF/UHF simplex Grid Madness contest is set for Sunday, 17 September 2017, from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Hawaii Standard Time.  For details, contact Stan Froseth (AH6KO) at AH6KO@arrl.net.

Hawaii Amateur Radio operators prepare for Simulated Emergency Test (SET):

The scenario for SET 2017 will be a Great Aleutian Tsunami, which will have a disastrous impact on all Hawaiian Islands.  The exercise will be held on Saturday, 21 October 2017, 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Hawaii Standard Time.  For details, contact cerisanders@gmail.com
