Comment:
One of my favorite sources of Amateur Radio news and commentary, other than official notices from ARRL Headquarters, is the “Amateur Radio Newsline Report” chaired by James Pastorfield (KB7TBT) and his crew of volunteer reporters. The presentation, both in script and audio form, is professional, brief, and well documented.
Here are the main topics covered in the latest edition of the “Amateur Radio Newsline Report”:
- AT HAMVENTION, HAMS WHO MADE A DIFFERENCE
- SILENT KEY HAD LONG COMBATIVE HISTORY WITH FCC
- BELIZE CLUB ADMITTED INTO IARU
- LAST DAYS TO NOMINATE YOUNG HAM OF THE YEAR
- GERMANY GETS NEW 4 METER BAND
- SCOUT CAMPS GET ON THE AIR
- ONE CLUB’S HOMEBREW SOLUTION
- WORLD OF DX
- SPECIAL DELIVERY
