The ARRL, Hawaii County Mayor, and the State of Hawaii Governor presented proclamations recognizing Hawaii Island radio amateurs Richard (AH7G) and Barbara Darling (NH7FY) as recipients of the 2016 ARRL International Humanitarian Award for their work in helping the citizens of the Federated States of Micronesia (FSM).  The presentation was accompanied by a slide presentation by John Bush (KH6DLK/V63JB) covering Amateur Radio support for the FSM.

Just a quick reminder:  The Eden Roc park and community pavilion will be the site of Hawaii Island’s 2017 ARRL Field Day emergency communications exercise.  The event will be held from 8:00 a.m., Saturday, 24 June 2017 through 8:00 a.m., Sunday, 25 June 2017.
