ARES E-Letter

Author:

Big Island ARRL News, 07 December 2016, 03:15 hrs, UTC, Post #61.

Before I outline the contents of the current issue of the “ARES E-Letter”, let’s remember the tragic events of 07 December 1941, which propelled the United States of America into World War II.  Joint Base Hickam-Pearl Harbor is hosting a special 75th anniversary event Wednesday to commemorate the December 7th attack. For the first time in Hawaii history, the Prime Minister of Japan, Mr. Abe, will attend the ceremonies.  Mr. Abe and U.S. President Barack Obama will be meeting to discuss Pacific Rim affairs after the ceremony.
