The Original Big Island of Hawaii International Swap Meet and Ham Fest will be held on Saturday, 12 November 2016, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., at the Waimea Community Center, next to the ball field off the Mamalahoa Highway in Waimea (Kamuela).
There will be a $10.00 donation per table per seller and a $5.00 donation per attendee at the time of registration.
Guest speakers this year include Russ Roberts (KH6JRM), the ARRL Public Information Coordinator for Hawaii County in the Pacific Section, and Joe Speroni (AH0A), the ARRL Pacific Section Manager.
VE testing for all levels of Amateur Radio licenses will be available, starting at 1:00 p.m.
There will be QSL card checking and surprise giveaways throughout the day. The Grand Prize this year is an Acu-rite Professional Weather Center.
